Ok so what does a two religion family and cub scouts have to do with anything at all? Well it happened to be what set in motion a dumb argument this evening. Dave and I rarely ever fight, in fact the only time we ever used to disagree with each other was over religion. Over the past few years this subject has mellowed out considerably. But tonight it flared its ugly head... so, what does cub scouts have to do with religion?? (my point exactly!!!) Alex wants to join and can join anytime with the troop at school where all his friends go. However, the troop at Dave's church doesn't allow the boys to join until they are 8 years old (after they are baptized and confirmed members). Sigh... thus enters the dilemma.... It is a good thing Dave and I don't stay mad at each other for too long. Think we are going to let him join the troop at school now and then if he wishes to switch to the troop at Dave's church later he can.
