not knowing is worse...

Went in on Friday to finally find out what is going on with the little lump that has been irritating me for the past year and a half. I was glad to finally see a doc that seemed to know what he was doing, second opinions really are a must. I'm not really worried about it being serious or anything, just ruling out the worst. But, boy oh boy did it hurt....
Emotionally, when the oral surgeon first referred me to the ENT after reviewing my CT I had a really tough afternoon of being very frightened. That was over a year ago. The ENT I saw at the time was NOT a good doctor at all, he just blew me off. So now I just want to know what the heck is going on once and for all. I really like the new doctor. As he put it, "the not knowing is sometimes worse than the knowing."

not knowing is bad enough..awful bad doctors make it all worse. hope you find peace or help or both soonx lynda

All is well, the doctor said I'll probably live to be 100! I hope so, I have a lot to do before then ;-)
