I don't know about any of you, but I truly have mixed emotions about watching my daughter grow up. One day I still view her as the little girl who would not go to sleep without her favorite blankie (many a night I had to drive home and get it for a sleepover) and then the next day I am looking at a independent young woman...It does bother me that she isn't even an official teen yet. She has an old soul. I love her dearly and try so hard to be understanding...sometimes I fail miserably, other times I surprise myself.
